We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Basic grade Physiotherapist to join our team in Curraheen, Cork.

Contract Type: This is a permanent contract.

Contract Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary Scale: €43,276 to € 57,653 per annum

Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days pro-rata per annum and proportianetely less for less than 12 months service.

Overview of the Post:

To work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a physiotherapy service to include assessment diagnostics and intervention and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. The post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings.

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.

AND

Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

AND

Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Register Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual registration

On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.

AND

Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.

Desirable Criteria:

· Experience of working in a community based setting.

· Experience of working with physical disabilities

· Experience of working with a team
