APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

PENSIONS OFFICER - GRADE 6

PERMANENT FULL-TIME CONTRACT (35 Hours per Week)

CENTRAL MANAGEMENT, ST VINCENT’S CENTRE, NAVAN ROAD, DUBLIN

Salary: €55,093 - €67,308* (*LSI)

*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Interested applicants must possess the following:

• Experience in managing staff and the ability to supervise and train staff.

• A willingness to undertake relevant training

• In addition candidates should also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• The successful candidate will have good communication, planning and problem solving skills together with the ability to work under pressure.

Desirable:

• Experience managing a public sector pensions / payroll or equivalent experience that can demonstrate relevant knowledge.

• A working knowledge of health service pensions (NHASS and SPSPS) and their administration together with pensions’ legislation.

• Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of AVISTA competency framework.
