Payroll Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join the Shanahan Engineering team on a FTC basis. The purpose of the position is to ensure that all payroll is prepared and processed accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure all employees are paid in line with their contractual entitlements and in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure payslips/expense statements are saved in order for them to be issued to employees on a timely basis.
- Managing payroll queries.
- Loading weekly hours onto the system.
- Post all contractor invoices to iFlight.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the business from time to time.
- Attention to detail and process ownership.
- Understanding and reporting of exceptions to processes on a timely basis.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to tight deadlines and willingness to work as required to meet deadlines. Be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting payroll.
- Previous Experience in Payroll Required
- Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or Finance
- This position is fully remote and can be based in Ireland or UK.
