Payroll Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join the Shanahan Engineering team on a 12+ month FTC basis. The purpose of the position is to ensure that all payroll is prepared and processed accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure all employees are paid in line with their contractual entitlements and in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Ensure payslips/expense statements are saved in order for them to be issued to employees on a timely basis.
  • Managing payroll queries.
  • Loading weekly hours onto the system.
  • Post all contractor invoices to iFlight.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required by the business from time to time.
Required Skills / Knowledge
  • Attention to detail and process ownership.
  • Understanding and reporting of exceptions to processes on a timely basis.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to tight deadlines and willingness to work as required to meet deadlines. Be knowledgeable about and understand new legislation impacting payroll.
Experience
  • Previous Experience in Payroll Required
Education Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or Finance
Physical Requirements
  • This position is fully remote and can be based in Ireland or UK.
