Location of Post

There is currently a permanent whole time post available.

The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises.

A panel may be formed for Clinical Midwife Manager 2 (Antenatal, Post Natal, Labour Ward and Maternity Day Assessment Unit) Portiuncula University Hospitals from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.

Purpose of the Post

The post of CMM 2 has a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating, and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional/ clinical leadership.
