An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Online Department for a Site Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all product information on-site, keywords and meta data are up to date, to ensure ambitious budgets are met, whilst ensuring customers have the best possible online shopping experience. They will ensure that the information on the website reflects the complete product offering and that on-site search is optimised through the regular input of related keywords.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • The initial setup and ongoing management of the online grocery product category structure to include seasonal and promotional categories
  • Run new product reports on a weekly basis or as required and use to update website listings, descriptions & settings. Ensure that details of any new range launches are captured and communicated well in advance of go live date
  • Plan and implement the updating of all online shopping promotional content files as per the grocery and fresh promotional cycle schedules. Complete a review of all promotions post go live to ensure that pricing is correct and all promotional offers are operating correctly
  • Investigate, root cause and resolve all customer and store website queries in relation to product listing, pricing and availability
  • Liaise with third parties in relation to product imagery to ensure that there is 100% coverage in both branded and own brand products.
  • On a weekly basis review online grocery shopping sales by department versus offline sales to identify underperforming categories or products. Liaise with trading team to develop strategy to drive sales in underperforming areas
  • Be the point of contact between the online grocery department and relevant trading departments
  • Work closely with marketing and trading teams to produce and issue an online grocery activity calendar weekly / periodically to all relevant stakeholders
  • Issue weekly online grocery trading reports to the business
  • Other adhoc duties which may arise in our Online Grocery Department

Requirements:

  • Must have a strong work ethic and a will to get the job done
  • Must have a clear understanding of the importance of this role and how it benefits our customer
  • Ideally have previous online trading experience within a fast paced environment, preferably retail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail, a completer and curious
  • Creative thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence both internally and externally
  • Self-starter with an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, fast-changing production environment
  • Passionate about online retail and eager to progress in and Ecommerce
