Office Co-ordinator
Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and approachable Office Coordinator to be the face and backbone of our office. This role is crucial for ensuring a welcoming environment and providing essential administrative support to our Health & Safety Manager and HR team. If you are a proactive multitasker with strong communication skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities: • Visitor Engagement: Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Health & Safety and HR departments, including: o Data entry and filing o Document preparation and management o Maintaining records and supporting compliance needs • Event Coordination: Organize internal functions, team meetings, and office events, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly. • General Office Management: Oversee general office duties, including: o Managing office supplies and inventory o Answering incoming calls and directing them as needed o Coordinating office maintenance and repairs
Terms and Conditions: • Contract Length: Permanent • Salary: £22,000 (pro rata) • Hours: Full or Part Time (minimum 28 hours) • Holidays: 20 Annual Days (pro rata) • Probationary Period: 6 months • Notice Period: 4 weeks (in writing) Criteria
Experience Proven experience in an administrative or office coordinationrole Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Skills & Ability to communicate effectively and interpersonal skills Aptitudes Approachable and friendly demeanour Proactive and adaptable, with a cando attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
