Position Description

The New Connections Team Member will join the ESB Networks Customer Experience Area as part of a highly skilled team providing excellence in service to all our New Connections Customers. New Connections Team Members deal with a broad range of work including processing Application Forms, generating customer quotations and dealing with internal and external queries. Key Responsibilities 

  • Processing Customers’ New Connections Applications and generating quotations for same. 

  • Handling external and internal customer queries promptly and politely. 

  • Supporting the roll out of various Customer Improvement Projects and adapting to emerging technologies as required. 

  • Completing all tasks in a professional manner, prioritising customers’ needs and safeguarding their confidentiality. 

  • Maintaining the integrity of ESB’s IT systems, by completing all appropriate updates promptly and accurately. 

  • Personal professional development and upskilling

  • User Acceptance Testing of new digitised initaitives to ensure they are working as anticipated

Experience and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Leaving Certificate 
  • Excellent attention to detail. 

  • Strong team player, capable of working on own initiative and the ability to complete tasks to deadlines. 

  • Good IT/numeric skills including use of Outlook.

  • Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and interpersonal. 

  • Ability to learn and apply new systems and procedures. 

  • Initiative and problem-solving skills. 

Desirable:

  • Good Excel Skills. 

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
