MWCH Clinical Nurse Manager Supplementary

The post of Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM 2) has a pivotal role in service planning,

co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: management of the delivery of a high standard of nursing care, quality assurance, resource management, staffing and staff development and induction, practice development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership.

The initial vacancy is a permanent, whole-time post in St. Camillus Hospital, Shelbourne Road, Limerick.

• Raheen, Community Nursing Unit (CNU), Tuamgreaney, Co. Clare
• St. Joseph’s Hospital, Ennis, Co. Clare
• Ennistymon Community, Nursing Unit, Ennistymon, Co. Clare
• Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
• Dean Maxwell Community, Nursing Unit, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
• St. Conlons Community, Nursing Unit, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
• St. Camillus Hospital, Shelbourne Rd., Limerick
• St. Ita’s Hospital, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.
