Division: Lab Diagnostics
Position Purpose:
To perform related functions that support the efficient manufacture of quality product. To maintain a sanitary and safe work area and equipment in accordance with company procedures, while at all times adhering to company policy.
Duties / Responsibilities
Key-end results areas necessary to fulfill the position’s basic purpose.
- Assemble and test product per company procedures and drawings.
- Complete all necessary documentation and ensure that all required records are accurately maintained.
- Achieve weekly targets through effective teamwork.
- Ensure that work areas and equipment are maintained in accordance with company requirements and that all safety rules and procedures are observed.
- Assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Train fellow operators.
- Assist other departments when required.
- Participation in all company audits.
- Other assignments as necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Leaving certificate.
- FAS training in electromechanical assembly would be an advantage.
- Plus 2 years experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- SAP
