Job Description:

Apprenticeship Programme Overview

  • We are looking for candidates who are committed and motivated to our Apprenticeship. It is a structured programme that is dynamic and progressive but also supportive to your learning where you can expect a mix of ‘on’ and ‘off the job’ training. 
  • Initally you will complete a 2 year level 6 Manufacturing Technician course with the view to progressing to a Level 7 Bachelor of Engineering degree with Element Six.

  • Successful candidates will have a technical and mechanical aptitude who also display maturity, commitment, flexibility, and a willingness to accept responsibility. Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills are also essential qualities we will be looking for in our apprentices, starting from August 2024.

Qualifications:

Essential Criteria for Application

  • Applicants must be aged 18 on or before the 1 September 2024.
  • Willing and able to commit to a structured apprenticeship programme with Element Six in conjunction with Ibec, Generation Apprentice and TUS Midwest, commencing from August 2024.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Be physically fit and be able to pass a colour vision test and medical assessment.
  • Eligible to live and work in the EU.
  • Provide 2 verifiable references.
  • You will also need to have already attained the following minimum educational qualifications- Grade O6 at Ordinary Level in 5 subjects 2 of which must be maths and a language (English or Irish).
