KNOW THE ROLE

Are you ready to join our team? We’re looking for a Concession Manager to lead our well-established business. In this role, you will report to the Dublin management team and be responsible for the day to day running of our Limerick store.

  • You’ll be responsible for embodying our mission of giving our customers the finest experience as they shop for their beautiful homes. You’ll do this by combining your sense of style and colour with impressive product knowledge and a passion for people.
  • You’ll ensure that shopping in Bottom Drawer is such an enjoyable experience that our customers will return year after year and through the generations, knowing they will find in our store the finest quality homewares in Ireland.
  • You will lead a team of 3/4 colleagues and have the direct management responsibilities for this team.

Lead your team from the front by:

  • Being an incredible salesperson, thoroughly enjoying the customer interaction and the thrill of making great sales
  • Maintaining the highest standards of customer service, merchandising and displays
  • Ensuring that stock levels are effectively managed, replenished daily and that stockrooms are well organized
  • Improving your product knowledge and remaining up to date with new designs and collections
  • Looking for new ways to highlight and promote our products, in- store, through advertising and social media
  • Managing the daily, monthly and quarterly running of BD Limerick - creating business plans together with Management, to ensure the success and smooth-running of your business
  • Completing and distributing rotas, as well as logging sickness, holidays etc. in consultation with the Dublin office.
  • Managing the execution of stock counts, stocktakes and visual merchandising in store
  • Following health and safety procedures and all relevant Brown Thomas guidelines and expectations
  • Ensuring that your team are meeting business objectives and targets, addressing any underperformance, seeking support from your Manager where necessary
  • Motivating your team to strive to improve their selling techniques, product knowledge and merchandising skills

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience leading a team, ideally within the luxury sector
  • Passion for selling and exceeding customer expectations
  • A sense of style, we sell beautiful top-quality merchandise
  • Experience with customer relationship management
  • Adaptability and confidence, with an ability to motivate and inspire your team
  • Positive and can-do attitude
  • Strong communication and mathematical skills
  • Comfort and motivation by working with and achieving targets
  • Punctuality and flexibility to work with retail hours, sometimes including bank holidays and weekends
  • Personableness, friendliness and a great team leader.
