Finance Team, Clontarf, Dublin 3
Full time, Permanent Contract, 35 hours per week
Reporting to the Head of Finance, and as part of the wider Finance team, the Management Accountant will be responsible for developing and monitoring dashboard reporting and analysis in addition to producing management accounts, supported by the implementation and management of an appropriate system of variance analysis and commentary.
The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy, transparency, timeliness and communication of all management information with the Head of Finance, Senior Management Team and the relevant departmental budget holders.
The successful candidate must possess:
· Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years post qualified experience.
· Advanced Excel skills.
· Ability to be self-directed with a high level of awareness of the importance of preserving confidentiality.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to take initiative, make positive changes and take action and improve outcomes
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including report writing skills.
· Proven ability in data analysis to uncover valuable insights, identify process improvements, increase efficiency and value for money.
· A high level of organisational acumen to interpret the results of data analytics and provide meaningful analysis and sound recommendations.
· Well developed decision making and prioritising skills together with the ability to work under pressure whilst balancing multiple tasks.
· A high level of organisational ability and attention to detail.
· Infor Sun Systems/Infor Q&A experience desirable.
· Be flexible and have ability to work on own initiative.
