Maintenance Foreman

St Michaels House are advertising the following vacancy :Maintenance Foreman (Grounds)

· As a Working Foreman, complete and / or assign various grounds works to the Grounds team, and ensure works are completed and closed out appropriately.

· To ensure systems and workplans are in place around a planned maintenance program for grounds / gardening.

· To undertake such additional duties as might reasonably be requested by line Management (Estates Managers).

· Alongside the other Foremen, to support the Estates Management Team in the overall effective provision of a technical services department.

· Prepare and manage an agreed workplan for the maintenance of grounds across SMH. Grounds Foreman will have overall responsibility for the workplan. Ensure tasks are appropriately assigned, and not over-staffed, or under-staffed (e.g., 1 person, and 2 person jobs).

· Implement a planned maintenance program and report Monthly on progress to the Technical Services Manager.

· Ensure reactive jobs are tracked using the facilities management system.

· Ensure plant and equipment are appropriately serviced and maintained.

· Ensure good practices are implemented to minimise waste to landfill and for a sustainable approach to grounds maintenance.
