Location: Based onsite at our Craigavon headquarters

Hours: 40 hours per week (Sunday – Thursday)

The Role

Almac Clinical Services work with the world’s leading Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies to support the delivery of Clinical Trials for new healthcare products and medicines. Our services include storage and distribution, temperature management, and expert and innovative clinical packaging solutions. The Operations Department offers extensive clinical trial packaging services. We prepare clinical supplies in dedicated cGMP suites using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities across all processing temperature conditions.

The Engineering function supports our services through routine, planned, and unplanned maintenance activities.

We currently have an opportunities to join our team in the role of Maintenance Engineer, performing routine preventative maintenance, and completing reactive maintenance of plant and equipment (such as breakdowns). Key responsibilities will include operating and maintaining HVAC systems to ensure control of environmental conditions, use of BMS system, and troubleshooting and resolving problems with production equipment as quickly as possible.

Ideal candidates will have previous maintenance experience in an Engineering role within a manufacturing environment and must be Time Served with at least NVQ Level 3 qualification in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline. You’ll also need experience of troubleshooting and fault finding, and previous experience working with complex mechanical and/or electrical systems. A good working knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance procedures and systems is also required.

Additional

These roles will be based on permanent night shift Sunday - Thursday 23:00 - 07:30. You will also be entitled to a shift allowance on top of your base salary. These roles will be based full time on-site.
