Logistics Warehouse Operative

An exciting opportunity to work with a marketing company who specialise in the management of marketing material for large Irish drinks and media companies.

Standard hours are 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (40 hours excluding breaks).

Rostered hours may rotate in shifts between 07:00 and 20:00 in order to meet business requirements

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load/unload trailers, including accurate completion of paperwork.
• Matching deliveries with dockets & management of inbound and outbound orders
• Sortation and building of orders, checking against paperwork, reporting of discrepancies
• Preparing orders for dispatch; pick, pack and label in line with current processes
• Use of Warehouse Management System (WMS) processing orders, generating paperwork and labels
• Scanning of goods inbound and outbound
• Loading vehicles accurately and safely
• Completion of customer fulfillments and kitting in line with current processes
• Housekeeping of warehouse and yar and following processes in line with our health and safety policy’s.
• Completion of tasks as set by Logistics Warehouse Manager.
• General warehouse duties as directed by management.
• Cycle counting and inventory control management

Skills Requirements:·

• A counterbalance/reach forklift /VNA operator’s license
• Basic knowledge of computerized inventory systems, warehouse functions
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Relevant experience within a warehouse environment.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge/Familiarity of delivery documentation/paperwork.
