BACKGROUND

Pruune Consulting Ltd was founded in August 2017 as an equal opportunities’ employer. Pruune Consulting is an Irish based company that specialises in procurement, supply chain and logistics. Pruune works with SMEs and multinationals helping them unlock profitability by reducing their operating costs, this is achieved by reducing purchasing price and removing process waste by applying lean principles. Pruune is a team of dedicated procurement practitioners who are passionate about exceeding our customers’ expectations.

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the planning /preparations in the morning before the delivery drivers arrive for their shift.
• Manage the drivers on road as they deliver parcels ensuring parcels are delivered on time and in full.
• Responsible for station metrics ensuring we are exceeding targets.
• Responsible for the driver performance metrics.
• Close off the day once the drivers have returned.
• Must be able to manage the day-to-day tactical requirements and also plan for the medium/long term strategic requirements.
• Must understand all the customer and company requirements, translating them into SOPs and implementing SOPs.
• Ensure all company policies are communicated and adhered to within the operations team & with the drivers.
• Lead daily standup meetings (5-10 minutes) with the drivers in the morning prior to them leaving for their route.

REQUIREMENTS

• Full Irish or EU driver’s license category B (3+ years’ experience).
• Prior delivery van experience driving experience.
• Must be 25+ years old due to insurance requirements.
• Proficient at using MS Office - MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access.
• Candidate must be able to understand big data, manipulate it to create reports that show trends.

ONBOARDING

• Two days classroom training, followed by 8 days on the road driving.
• Candidate must demonstrate an understanding of parcel delivering by spending time during onboarding on the road delivering parcels.
• Candidate must spend time to understand all nuisances with the delivery routes, end customer requirements.

ROLE

• Contract - Self Employed.

SALARY/BENEFITS

• Basic Pay: 160 Euros per day
• Individual Bonus

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work 3 - 4 days a week
• 11 hour working shift
• 1 hour unpaid break
• Self Employed
• At a minimum spend 50% of their time on the road delivering parcels and training newbies.
