Logistics Administrator

The role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Logistics Administrator to join the team, to enable Hovis to deliver on its vision of being the best quality brand in bakery. The role will provide the Supply Chain and Logistics teams with administrative support, enabling the functions to provide an efective service to the wider Belfast team through the timely and accurate provision of data.

Part time 3 days per week. 1 Saturday in 3.

Working with the Despatch and Radial teams, some of the key accountabilities include:

  • KPI and data management
  • Maintain SAP reports and requests
  • Use of ID Hammer for reports on request for Site Management
  • Update PTL system
  • Despatch reporting as required
  • Purchasing
  • Ordering within SAP system as required
  • PO generation and tracking
  • Service Management
  • Respons to requests with fast and accurate turnarounds and in line with agreed SLAs
  • Support customer service, by working closely with customers, to confirm deliveries, answering queries and inputting manual delivery and credit notes
  • Input of customer orders and invoices
  • Constantly challgenges the status quo to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness is maixmised at all times

The ideal candidate will be one that is passionate not only about the work they do but the brand they work for, takes ownership of what they do, and is able to influence multiple stakeholders in the right way. They will also be able to focus individuals on specific tasks and behaviours, by bringing a positive, encouraging and consistent behaviour and are able to create a compelling story for the future as well as role model the Hovis Leadership Standards.

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge on Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Flexibility 
  • Willingness to work on own initiative
  • High standard of accuracy and organisation plus attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
