We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to oversee two vibrant restaurants in Cork. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, focusing on proactive sales initiatives one day a week, managing booking inquiries, and supporting our social media presence. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, operational management, and marketing skills to enhance our restaurants’ performance and visibility.

Some of the key responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

 Booking Management:

  • Manage all booking inquiries and ensure a seamless reservation process.
  • Optimize table turnover and customer flow through effective booking management.
  • Collaborate with restaurant staff to enhance guest experience during peak times.

Social Media and Marketing Support:

  • Assist in creating engaging content for our social media platforms to promote events and specials.
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with customers to build brand loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Analyse sales data and booking trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and booking metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or hospitality management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of the Cork restaurant scene and customer preferences is a plus.
