We currently have an opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Commercial Manager and Operations team to ensure all commercial functions for the Division are completed to professional standards within agreed time and cost budgets.

What you'll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and customers
- Management of procurement process and assignment of subcontractors
- Drafting of subcontract particulars and agreement of same
- Auditing of subcontract accounts
- Manage contract payment applications, ensuring prompt and regular submission
- Updating of project cash flow models
- Identify potential risks and take action where as necessary
- Visiting sites and projects when required
- Attend site meetings & prepare subcontractor payments
- Other duties as may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business
What you'll bring
As a Junior QS your main skills and experience will include:
- A third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
- A minimum of 2 years experience with a Construction or Civil Engineering Contractor
- A strong proactive work ethic and drive to progress your career in Quantity Surveying
- A basic understanding of contract forms
- Good organisational skills
- Strong numeracy skills
- Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Information Technology in general
- CSR/CSCS card
- First Aid
