The expectation of the role is to support the business in providing high quality computing environments by providing and managing the provision of System Administration expertise to the Mount Charles User community to include support for Windows operating systems, laptops, desktops, mobile and tablet devices and a large deployment of EPOS tills across our estate. The IT Systems Administrator will also be responsible for managing our Microsoft environment including Intune, Azure, Sharepoint, O365, Exchange and Teams components across all six group companies.

The IT Systems Administrator will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, and maintaining our IT systems within a busy and varied environment. The expectation of the role is to support the business in providing high quality computing environments by providing and managing the provision of System Administration expertise to the Mount Charles User community to include support for Windows operating systems, laptops, desktops, mobile and tablet devices and a large deployment of EPOS tills across our estate. The IT Systems Administrator will also be responsible for managing our Microsoft environment including Intune, Azure, Sharepoint, O365, Exchange and Teams components across all six group companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritise and respond to helpdesk tickets and troubleshoot issues with hardware and software
- Install and configure software and hardware, including EPOS tills, Windows 10/11 systems, laptops, desktops, mobile and tablet devices.
- Management of the Microsoft environment
- Set up and manage accounts, workstations and mobile devices
- Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to requirements
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
- Assist with technology requirements of our Events Division
- Escalation of significant issues to the Head of IT or the CTO
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Experience with EPOS systems, Windows 10/11 systems, laptops, desktops, mobile and tablet devices
- Experience managing a Microsoft 365 environment
- Knowledge of system security, role-based access controls, and data protection
- Resourcefulness and a conscientious, problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with other teams and departments to enable enhanced support and communications
- The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs
- A clean driving license and own car to be able to fulfil the requirements of the role are essential (loss of licence may impact on ability to retain post)
