Job Description & Summary

The Procurement & Asset Management team manages IT assets across their full life cycle (procurement, acquisition, provisioning, deployment, recovery and end of life management). The Joiners and Leavers process which on-boards/off-boards PwC employees is also a core activity performed by the team and this will form a key part of this role.You will have the opportunity to drive changes and improvements in this area, all while enhancing your own skills and professional growth

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Employee Intakes & IT Equipment Management

  • Coordinate employee intakes and prepare/deploy IT equipment for new hires.

  • Administer IT assets (stock and deployed), including data maintenance and recovery during terminations.

Procurement & Stock Management

  • Manage purchasing system admin (requisitions/receiving) and maintain IT procurement catalogue.

  • Oversee stock and storeroom management.

IT Asset Deployments & Recovery

  • Monitor HR staff tracker for new joiners and terminations.

  • Ensure timely setup and deployment of IT equipment for new joiners.

  • Recover assigned assets and provide regular reports on asset returns.

  • Escalate issues or delays to relevant stakeholders.

General IT Asset Administration

  • Manage PAM end user service requests and respond within agreed SLA.

  • Maintain accurate asset registers and participate in regular process reviews.

  • Provide regular reports on PAM service delivery.

Other Duties

  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by management.


Experiences and skills 

  • Minimum 1 year IT Asset Management (or similar) experience with a large corporate including the deployment of IT equipment across a branch/regional network.

  • ITAM qualification is desirable but not necessary 

  • Experience using service desk platforms (Service Now preferable)

  • Experience managing an IT asset register and CMDB (Service Now preferable)

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Ability to multi task and respond to changing priorities

  • Solution oriented with strong problem solving skills

  • Good team work skills, ability to build positive relationships within and across teams
