ICT Support Analyst, Grade IV

Purpose of the Role:

The primary purpose of the ICT Support Analyst, Grade IV, is to manage Level 1 calls and serve as the first point of contact for all hospital-related IT incidents and service requests. This role involves providing initial technical support, troubleshooting common hardware, software, and network issues, and escalating more complex problems to higher-level support teams. The Grade IV Analyst ensures timely and effective responses to user inquiries, contributing to the smooth operation of hospital IT systems and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential Criteria:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

· Education: A relevant ICT qualification (certificate/diploma in IT, computer science, or related field).

· Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an ICT support role, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.

Technical Skills:

· Basic understanding of networking principles (e.g., IP, DNS, DHCP) and IT infrastructure.

· Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Windows operating systems.

· Experience with remote desktop tools, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hospital-specific applications.

Soft Skills:

· Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with hospital staff at all levels.

· Strong problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities.
