Hygiene Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a Hygiene Shift Supervisor for our Client, Allied Bakeries, a national UK bakery based in East Belfast.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading across a 4 shift based Hygiene Team ensuring co-ordination of the team, allocating cleaning tasks and ensuring completion of tasks to the required standards through monitoring and coaching.
Salary: £37,000 per annum
Working hours: Rotational days and nights
Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 5:00pm to 5:00am for two weeks
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5:00am to 5:00pm for 2 weeks

Job Duties:
- To ensure the factory is deep cleaned and kept to the required ABSS, BRC & customer standards and that the site maintains an audit ready status at all times
- To take the lead in Health & Safety, ensuring that all aspects of site procedures are adhered to and all staff are working safely at all times
- To ensure site facilities, changing areas, offices, canteen and site perimeter are kept clean and to a high standard
Job Criteria:
Essential:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within a FMCG environment is essential
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of leading a team is essential
- The ability to plan and prioritise workload is essential
- To be Proactive and a self starter
- To demonstrate good attention to detail
- Management of hygiene systems and control of chemicals and equipment is desirable
- Waste and recycling management experience is desirable
- The ability to carry out training eg., Health & Safety, IOSH, Internal Auditing, Risk Assessments and Pest Management
Desirable:
- Experience of dealing with auditors is desirable
- Experience in conducting performance reviews is desirable
