The Role

The Hygiene Operative plays a critical role in ensuring that the Production area and equipment is maintained to the correct and highest standards of cleanliness for Production processes.

Key Accountabilities

Duties:

  • Uses chemicals and specialised cleaning equipment to wash down all parts of the factory.
  • Complies with Standard Operating Practices, Safety and Quality systems and procedures.
  • Maintains equipment and work area in careful and orderly manner.
  • Take part in continuous improvement initiatives and opportunities to improve work processes.
  • Follow and adhere to work instructions and procedures.
  • Follow checklists and work flow guidelines where applicable.
  • Highlight any deficiencies to Team Leader / Manager. 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Candidates must have a good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment very desirable.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Positive approach to team working and great interpersonal skills.
  • An eye for detail, takes pride in work and is both quality and results focused.

Benefits

This is a fixed shift position - 10.00pm to 6.00am, Monday to Friday.

Pay is 14.95 euros per hour.
