Mallon Technology Ltd is excited to announce an opportunity for the role HR Officer responsible for supporting and enhancing the workforce by managing HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive company culture.

We a blended working policy which facilitates working from home, blended working, and working in our offices in Dublin or Cookstown (Tyrone). There will be the requirement to attend the office for induction and occasional meetings and events.

Working Hours: The working hours are 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment:Overseeing the recruitment cycle from job posting to hiring, collaborating with managers to identify staffing needs, liaising with recruiters, managing candidate communications, conducting interviews, and handling legalities like right-to-work documentation and work permits.

Onboarding and Offboarding: Reviewing and implementing effective onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees, enhancing their overall experience and integration.

HR Documentation and records: Management and updating of the HR Platform including leave, training and personnel files. Assist in the development and review of HR Policies and Documentation. Ensure management and retention of records in line with our legal duties and ISO standards.

Legislation Updates: Keeping up to date with emerging HR legislation and best practices. Assist with ensuring occupational health and safety.

Disciplinaries, Grievances, and Performance Management: Collaborating with or guiding line managers in handling HR issues, complaints, and formal performance management processes, including appraisals, disciplinaries, and grievances.

Learning and Development: Responsibility for learning and development within the organisation including developing training plans, sourcing training providers and reporting.

Culture and wellness initiatives: Supporting employee wellness through wellness programs and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), promoting a supportive and healthy workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • HR degree
  • CIPD Level 5 (UK)/Level 7 (ROI) (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a varied HR role
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
