Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Administrator to join our team. The HSE Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the HSE department by ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This includes projects in the data centre and renewable development sectors, covering full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project delivery from tender to handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HSE Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain and update HSE documentation, including policies, procedures, and training records.
    • Prepare and submit regular HSE reports, including incident reports, safety statistics, and audit findings.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations and standards.
  • Risk Assessment and Management:

    • Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential hazards.
    • Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor and track corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Training and Awareness:

    • Coordinate HSE training programs and ensure all employees are adequately trained.
    • Maintain training records and schedule refresher courses as needed.
    • Promote HSE awareness and best practices across all project sites.
  • Audit and Inspection:

    • Assist in planning and conducting HSE audits and inspections.
    • Document findings and follow up on corrective actions.
    • Ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance through regular monitoring.
  • Incident Management:

    • Support the investigation of HSE incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
    • Assist in identifying root causes and developing preventive measures.
    • Maintain accurate incident records and track progress of corrective actions.
  • Compliance and Regulatory:

    • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations.
    • Stay updated on changes to HSE legislation and communicate these to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-2 ears of experience in an HSE administrative role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant HSE certification or training is preferred.
