Candidates must on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms for the post:

1. Professional Qualification, Experience etc.

(a) Have obtained such a standard of education as to enable him/her to discharge the duties of the post satisfactorily.

AND

(b) Demonstrate relevant management ability and experience within a health or social services setting.

AND

(c) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.

Post Specific Requirements

Candidate must demonstrate experience at a management level in the Health Services, as relevant to this role:

  • Ability to supervise, manage and motivate a team of home support service providers.
  • Ability to plan and manage change.
  • Experience in managing challenging deadlines and effectively handling multiple tasks.
  • Excellent organisational skills in the area of general administration, resource allocation etc.
  • Financial awareness and ability to operate service within budget.
  • Good knowledge on managing and implementing service plans and budgets.
