HEAD OF LOGISTICS

The Head of Logistics will take responsibility of the warehouse operation to ensure the highest level of customer service and drive efficiencies to the PRM Group of Companies. You will manage, lead and motivate the warehouse team by giving direction and monitoring performance.
You will manage and oversee the timely and efficient operation of the logistics and warehousing processes, ensuring customer requirements are met and service levels maintained. Partner with customer service and sales to provide accurate delivery details, manage customer expectations. Investigate and resolve any logistics related enquiries or issues, such as, delays, damaged goods, shortages etc, serving as the escalation point for operational challenges.
Liaise with warehouse and supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing shortages. Investigate and resolve.
Work to improve and implement opportunities to streamline logistics processes, reduce costs and enhance service quality of pick and dispatch.
Manage cost controls within the budget.
Promote and adhere to company Health and Safety policies ensuring logistics activities are conducted safely and responsibly.
Desirable criteria and skills for the role:
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data management
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (excel, word, outlook)
Experience in logistics, supply chain, food distribution, including familiarity with logistics software, ERP systems, WMS
