"(a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition: • An academic award in Quality Management at level 7 (or higher) on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) or equivalent or have commenced on an academic course to achieve such award. Or • A professional qualification in a health-related area with experience in Quality Assurance Co-ordination. And • 2 years relevant experience of working in a Quality Assurance role at managerial level within a Health Service. (b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office. "
