PURPOSE OF JOB:

We are delighted to accept applications for the role of Group Systems Support. The main purpose of this role is to provide all hotels with support and training of Opera Cloud PMS and all integrated channels. The role involves management of incoming support via our Dalata ticketing system along with ssupporting the Group Systems Manager on roll out of new systems, training where required and to develop & maintain SOP’s and Dalata online training. To role involves working closely with the Central Revenue team to ensure synergies across all properties. The ideal candidate should have minimum 2 years’ experience working with Opera Cloud PMS within the hospitality industry. Along with the relevant experience the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong management expertise and a very positive attitude.

RESPONSIBLE TO: Group Systems Training & Standards Manager

Requirements.

  • Strong Opera Cloud PMS Experience
  • Hotel Reservations/Front Office Experience is preferred,
  • Aptitude for solving problems and acting on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Key Duties & Objectives

  • Support;
  • Responsible for the entry, tracking and management of all incoming support calls via Dalata Ticketing System
  • To provide support to all Hotels as required for all PMS and all integrated channels 
  • To troubleshoot, resolve and or escalate to Oracle where required.
  • To track and monitor performance issues and open bug tickets.
  • To build relationships with Hotels and external providers
  • To provide training on systems as required.
  • To maintain positive communication with the hotels and central office at all time
  • To assist with PCI & GDPR compliance

Training:

  • To ensure best practices in reservations standards across all hotels
  • To identify training needs for hotels and provide training where needed
  • To develop and maintain SOP’s and Dalata Online Training material
  • Ongoing training for Central Revenue Team
  • To support Groups Systems Manager on rollout of any new technology as required

Projects:

  • To provide support for all New Hotel Openings and acquisitions.
  • To provide support on the rollout of Duetto project to all hotels.
  • To support Groups Systems Manager on rollout of new technology as required
  • To maintain positive communication with the hotels and central office at all time
