About The Role

We are looking for a Group FP&A Accountant to join our team! As part of this role, you will be actively partnering with designated Functional Cost Owners to ensure they have an appropriate understanding of their cost performance and associated variances to prior year and budget.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and has a strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Kerry operates a Hybrid working policy, candidates will be required to work from our offices in Naas or Tralee each week.

What will I be doing?

  • Partner with designated Functional Cost Owners to ensure they have an appropriate understanding of their cost performance and associated variances to prior year and budget.
  • Ensure there is appropriate governance and meeting cadence in place with designated Functional Cost Owners to review cost performance and enable actions to deliver to plan.
  • Functional costs validation and reporting, manage month end accounting ensuring where required appropriate accruals and prepayments are put in place.
  • Prepare and issue suite of standard FP&A monthly reports summarising key insights observed.
  • For your designated Functions, be key point of contact on enquiries requiring root cause analysis and rectification.
  • For your designated Functions prepare the Corporate Division element of the Annual Budget ensuring function owners are fully aligned to plan and relevant Regional Business Units are aware/aligned to Budgeted allocations.
  • Consolidate cost performance and associated commentary into a Global functional view as part of cost bridge presentation.
  • Provide timely analysis of key business performance indicators across our business bringing understanding and insight to variances.
  • Support projects relating to Functional Cost Digitalisation as required.
  • Support ongoing projects as required.
  • Master data maintenance.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • Ambitious and energetic.

  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skilfully.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors own work to ensure quality and applies feedback to improve performance.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, AFO, Power BI an advantage
