Key Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, expanded and new contracts, Enva have an extremely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Environmental Engineer to join our Industrial Services team, working from our Cork office. 

  • Assist Contracts Manager in all duties required to safely, compliantly and profitably manage the daily operations.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holder, monitor projects budgets and programmes,
  • Operations supervision and management, management of sub-contractors
  • Environmental monitoring (e.g. sampling, analysis, and reporting)
  • Assist in day-to-day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress

 Business Development

  • Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.

R&D

  • Research and support new initiatives, processes and technologies to maintain Enva Environmental services position as an innovator and a forward thinker in this space
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Environmental Science, engineering (civil, mechanical) or Agricultural degree.
  • Experience in the engineering, environmental science, waste industry an advantage.
  • Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • To act courteously and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role
  • To foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company
  • To report for work in a timely manner and to conduct work as scheduled to company and customer satisfaction
  • To work within the instructions and procedures of the Company’s systems as directed by your Manager or other management as appropriate
  • To conduct all duties in a constructive and productive manner aligned to the interests of the company and management 
  • To act diligently and professionally in the interests of the Company
  • To demonstrate a willingness to promote the positive development of the business to all stakeholders of the business including customers but also extending to staff, contractors, EPA, HSA etc.
  • To demonstrate the company values at all times , i.e. Flexibility, Action, Customer Driven and Trust
