General Operator

Key Responsibilities

To carry out all required general operative duties which may include, but which will not be limited to:

• Processing of plastic waste as required
• Operation of equipment such as shredders, wash plant and extruder as required 
• Loading and unloading of vehicles as required 
• Additional services developed or offered by the company
• To conduct your duties in accordance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the company’s waste licence
• To complete all paperwork and administration necessary as requested by your supervisor or as the business needs dictate
• To adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times, including but not limited to:
• To provide direct operational support to any and all areas of the business as required and as reasonably requested by the company including but not limited to support for off site operations (e.g. waste oil and garage services, field services)
• To be flexible to carry out other duties as may be requested of your Manager from time to time
• To communicate any issues that arise within the plant/ process to the Production Manager or next most appropriate person immediately

· To maintain vehicles, work equipment, materials and PPE clean and in working order and to report any loss or damage immediately· To carry out checks , inspections and audits as directed
