Neylons Facility Management is looking for cleaning staff to join our team in a Healthcare Facility on Merrion Road , Dublin 4, Co. Dublin.

Part-time Evening 17:00-21:00 PMPart-time night shifts 22:30-08:00 AMFull-time day/evening shift flexible between 8 AM- 8 PM

Monday to Sunday in rotation.

Full training will be provided. Career progression is available for the right candidates.

Purpose of the Role

To undertake daily cleaning of the building in line with Health & Safety Standards. The cleaner will work within a team to ensure that the healthcare facility is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.

Job Description

The following are key areas of responsibility for the cleaner:

  • Undertake general cleaning of all clinical and non-clinical areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells and toilets, etc.
  • Dusting and washing floors and walls
  • Sweeping, floor polishing and waste disposal
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings
  • Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean and supplies are replenished when required
  • Organize necessary supplies for cleaning toilet facilities
  • Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers and elevators
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other building areas
  • General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
  • Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes

Requirements:

  • A can-do attitude
  • Experience of a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of English
  • Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
  • Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks
  • Garda Vetting is required.
