Job Purpose

Dawn Farms is currently seeking for General Operatives to join our Cold Stores facilities in Naas, Co. Kildare on a fixed term contract. As a General Operative you will report into the Production Managers/Team Leads. You will play an integral part of the team in ensuring the highest level or hygiene, food safety and health and safety standards are met. All while taking full responsibility in achieving production plans and targets in the most efficient and effective manner.

Positions: Full-time, Fixed-Term.

Location: QK Cold Stores, Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland.

Salary: N/A

Working Hours: Day Shift 7am - 15:30pm, 39 hours minimum a week.

Role Responsibilities & Duties

• Clean tools, equipment and work surfaces.
• Pack and prepare meat for storage in line with stock rotation, required temperatures, traceability standards and correct product dressing.
• Dispatch and palletize.
• Production line work – feeding, packing and machine operation.
• Comply with SOPs, safety and quality systems and procedures in their area.
• Complete and maintain production records for traceability and inspection.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies/procedures.
• Adhere to general hygiene and safety measures.
• Highlight any product, package or machine deficiencies to Team Leader or supervisor.
• Support Maintenance and Quality and other personnel to ensure production line runs safely and efficiently and to the highest level of quality.
