We have an exciting new opportunity for a Food & Beverage Operations Manager here at Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge.

The Food and Beverage Operations Manager directly reports to the Operations Manager & Deputy General Manager. The Food and Beverage Operations Manager is also overall responsible for providing all guests with quality service while maximizing all revenue streams and productivity, and developing managers and employees.

The duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinating the organisation and administrative functions in all areas of the Food and Beverage operations
  • Ensuring total compliance with standards of operation; ensuring that staffing is maintained at an appropriate level to match business demand
  •  Participating in all regular and ad hoc operational meetings and in the formulation of strategic business plans
  • Handling all guest complaints expeditiously to complete resolution
  • Closely monitoring the financial performance of all food and beverage related departments, in particular monitoring all Food and Beverage expenses to ensure that they are kept in line with budget
  • Providing solutions to improve problem areas and assisting in implementing corrective measures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards and liquor laws.
  • Monitor customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and to ensure that consistently high service delivery is achieved in all outlets.
  • Responsible to the recruitment and training of team members

Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in training staff in accordance with company Standards of Procedures
  • Excellent communication skills in all aspects;
  • Professional and appropriate business appearance and presentation
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of food and beverage
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent guest service and problem resolution skills
  • The flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
  • The ability to work comprehensively with budgeting packages.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team
  • Must have a customer centric approach and demonstrate the ability to maintain operational excellence at all times.
