Overview of role:
The Fleet Administrator assists in the safe and efficient operation of Gaeltec’s fleet of commercial vehicles. The Fleet Administrator will ensure the administrative recording of vehicle, fuel and related data. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date records for all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, driver schedules, vehicle logs, motor vehicle accidents, driving patterns, fuel expenses and maintenance history.
- Ensure regulatory and Company policy compliance of the fleet including vehicle safety checks, adherence to working time directives for employees, ensuring proper use of fuel cards.
- Provide weekly reports to Project Managers, act, investigate and provide documentation when identifying areas/errors with tracking vehicles and fuel cards.
- Point of contact for managers and employees regarding fleet related enquiries.
- Point of contact for requests and the appropriate provider, ensuring the correct vehicle is hired at the best price and provided to the employee.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience providing administrative support in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational skills, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
- Willingness to work with others to solve problems in a fast moving environment.
- Experience working in the construction industry would be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently or part of a team.
- Current Drivers Licence.
