What is the role:
Customer Financial Planning is a large and growing division of AIB and a key strategic area for development over the coming years. This is an opportunity to join a nationwide network of 120 advisors across the AIB branch network. The role requires the individual to potentially cover multiple branches in the geography.
The role holder is expected to have a strong understanding of all Financial Planning products and a moderate knowledge of other AIB product lines. The role holder will have a proven track record in building relationships both with customers and stakeholders to generate referrals and converting referrals to meetings.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide expert advice to customers on a broad range of financial needs, particularly in the areas of Protection, Investment, Savings and Pensions.
- Work closely with regional and local management teams to support and drive the achievement of the Bank’s Customer Financial Planning business and financial goals.
- Deal with the mass market customer segment to grow and retain assets under management, while generating wealth income through exceptional advice and customer service.
- Support the development of key staff in assigned Business Centres/Branches, enhancing their ability to identify and engage clients with financial planning needs.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues across multiple channels to ensure that the Customer Financial Planning business is appropriately positioned.
What you will bring:
- Qualifications: Fully Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).
- Experience: Preferably, experience as a Financial Advisor with a proven track record in client relationship-building and referrals.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
