Overview: We are excited to offer a fantastic internship opportunity for a Finance Intern to join our Irish headquartered business. This role is ideal for a driven individual who is keen to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting within a dynamic and growing company. As a Finance Intern you will have exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for individual group entities including KPI’s and variance analysis
- Review of budget against actual results and preparation of variance analysis
- Preparation and presentation of the budgeting and forecasting packs for various business units and regions
- Maintain a consolidated forecast model which can be updated easily each month across all entities and projects
- Active participant in department productivity, ensuring processes are streamlined, improve speed and accuracy with KPIs etc
- Provide support to relevant departments/stakeholders to monitor performance
- Assist in ensuring adherence to company accounting standards, business compliance, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial reporting and accounting.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach towards business issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
