Location/Office Policy: Hybrid approach to working, which will include a blend of onsite (Dublin, Molesworth St) and remote working

What is the Role:

A vacancy has now arisen in the Finance Business Partner team supporting Capital Markets, Climate Capital & Treasury.

As future focussed business partners our objective is to support the business in the development and delivery of AIB’s strategic and financial objectives. Critical to our success is an ability to understand the business and to apply a mix of analytical, commercial and communication skills to deliver information and insights to key stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Key Accountabilities;

  • Production of accurate and timely monthly financial performance reports providing relevant insights on performance and outlook to inform decision making
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across finance and the business to understand the key drivers of financial performance and variances to Plan / Forecast
  • Support the development of business units 3-year financial plan and ad hoc forecasts
  • Complete ad hoc financial analysis for the business including external environment, balance sheet impacts, income/margins and costs.
  • Support further development of financial management Information including financial management reporting tool (MyFinance), and the bank’s planning system (OnePlan)
  • What You Will Bring :

  • Part Qualified Accountant or appropriate financial qualification and/or some experience in a financial role or in a treasury function
  • Understanding of AIB’s business model, strategy and products suite
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data, to assess its value and to communicate the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way
  • Ability to work effectively and influence across a range of organisational structures, with the ability to manage competing priorities and to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop core business skills including stakeholder management and presentation skills
