Finance Business Partner
City, & Borough CouncilAllocated To Offices In, Banbridge Or Craigavon, ArmaghPO5 SCP 39-42, £48,710 - £51,802 per annum
To support and provide assistance to Directors and Heads of Department on day to day financial and budgetary control matters. The officer will develop an understanding of budgets, expenditure, pressures and future commitments within departments and across directorates and provide detailed analysis on these matters to Directors and Heads.
The officer will also be required to report directly to Finance on matters of a financial and budgetary nature. They will have an obligation to provide robust, detailed information in a regular and timely fashion on all and any financial matters within directorates in accordance with agreed dates and timelines and when requested to do so by the Finance department.
The post holder will support transformational change within departments from a financial and budgetary perspective.
The post holder will be required to work collaboratively and proactively foster and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including other officers within and across departments, Elected Members, external organisations and local citizens to advance Corporate and Departmental agendas.
