Fashion Supervisor Department Store

Shaw's Department Stores now have a vacancy for a Fashion Supervisor in our Limerick Store which is located in the Crescent Shopping Centre. Available to work weekends, closing and peak shifts

Job Purpose:

 To Support selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates, to train, coach, and motivate your team to improve selling and the customer experience. To lead selling efforts to meet selling goals during scheduled shifts

Main Duties:

• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager
• Assist store management in conducting onboarding and continued training of the associate team
• Lead and model the selling and customer experience standards
• Provide leadership or assistance with floor sets, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement, etc.
• Ensure customers are looked after promptly and politely, answering any queries that they may have.
• Adhere to till procedures.
• Ensure your team receives scheduled breaks and meal periods
• Merchandise stock in the correct manner
• Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant
• Receive, check, and stock deliveries.
• Ensure store fixtures and fittings are clean and presentable at all times.
• Maintain a high level of security for both cash and stock.
• Complete stock counts and audits as necessary
• Compile orders from suppliers as required.
• Execute visual standards and maintain a safe, inviting store appearance
• Observe all Health & Safety procedures and protocols.

The Successful Candidate:

• Must have a passion for retail and thrive on customer interaction.
• Will be positive and motivated.
• Will be an excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a team.
• Will be reliable and a good timekeeper.

Previous experience is an advantage however full training will be provided.

Applicants must be fully flexible to work shifts over a 7 day roster. Availability for midweek shifts is essential.
