Environmental Health & Safety Manager

The EHS Manager will be based in our Head Office, however, they will be required to travel 2-3 days per week to the Regional Distribution Centres and Stores

What you'll do

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and food safety requirements
  • Further developing and update of the EHS Management System
  • Supporting Head Office departments and regional management teams to meet their EHS requirements
  • Carrying out food safety and health and safety inspections, risk assessments & audits as required
  • Working on projects to ensure EHS is considered and included to ensure compliance
  • Promoting EHS within all departments to ensure a positive EHS culture within Lidl Ireland

What you'll need

  • Third-level degree or qualification in Food Science/Environmental Health or Occupational Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Full driving license is essential
