Grade VII Enterprise Systems Engineer, S/SWHG

The post holder will report to the eHealth Director/ Assistant National Director of the HSE South West or other nominated Manager designated by the eHealth Director/ Assistant National Director, to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of department goals

The post holder will also participate on several Enterprise and System Integration teams and may be required to lead teams. Direct reports may include staff at Grade IV to Grade VI level and include integration specialists.

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing the following for the region;

· Developing and implementing system integration strategies to support organisational goals and objectives, EU and National Regulation.

· Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify gaps and optimise system integration in the Region.

· Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to define their enterprise and system integration requirements and deliver people, process and technology solutions.

· Contributing to the development and execution of enterprise and system integration knowledge and competency across the Region.

The Grade VII Enterprise Systems Engineer will have a supporting role in designing, building, maintaining and expanding the integration of new and existing applications across the South West Health Region. The role is required to embed new applications into the service with a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of HL7 integration enabling a streamlined user experience in relation to patient diagnostics, workflows, EHR for clinical review.

The post will facilitate the introduction and change associated with new IT systems and will assist in supporting the existing IT systems, both nationally and regionally within our applicable settings.
