This is an exciting opportunity to join Three Ireland`s architecture team as we support the Business through its Digital Transformation journey. You’ll Join at a time of major system change, investment and implementation. The successful candidate will determine and govern the appropriate integration patterns for those implementations, considering industry best practice and delivery practicalities.
What else it involves:
- As an Enterprise Architect, specialising in Integration, you will
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and define the supporting high level architectures.
- Govern the progression of architectures, through the various stages of the deliver life cycle to implementation
- Facilitate and drive the IT decision making process
- Support the budgetary process by providing high level ROM estimates for projects
- Support delivery process by providing review and input to project planning
- Represent the Integration Domain, in the Technical Design Authority
- Review and approve design artefacts, where appropriate
- Be able to communicate your vision effectively to achieve stakeholder buy-in
- Be technology agnostic and able to work across all layers of the architecture and across differing technologies and vendors
- Contribute to the IT strategy, and be responsible for the evolution of your architecture domain(s)
- Keep abreast of new trends, patterns, standards or technologies that impact your domain(s)
- Maintain the End to End view, where multiple components, suppliers and design artefacts are in play
- Work as part of a collaborative IT architecture team, providing support and expertise to your colleagues and leveraging other`s expertise, when required
- Be able to manage multiple and varied suppliers, to collaboratively design and deliver the agreed architecture
- Engage with the business stakeholders providing recommendations and solution shaping on the delivery options for projects, providing a pragmatic balance between time, cost and quality and architecture principles.
The skills we`re looking for:
- Comprehensive experience of IT architecture, frameworks, integration technologies, design & solution implementation and operational transition.
- Comprehensive experience of industry standard development methodologies and techniques to deliver IT solutions.
- Broad experience of architecting complex integrated IT solutions in a Telecoms/ISP, Utilities, Pharmaceutical , Petrochemical or similar environment.
- Broad experience of integrating COTS products for Enterprise Systems into Billing, Revenue Management, CRM, Contact Centre, ERP, Supply Chain Logistics and Web/Mobile Portal domains
- Specific architectural experience of Middleware Integration Technologies, Platforms, Principles and Design Patterns
- Core integration protocols and standards, i.e. SOAP, REST XML and REST JSON
- API security (OAuth), authentication, authorisation
- Provisioning platforms interfacing to Telecoms network platforms such as HLRs, HSS underpinned by a high level understanding of the core mobile network BPM & Order management
- Demonstrable experience of successfully working with senior business users and influencing key stakeholders up to and including board members.
- Ability to build strong business relationships with both internal and external customers and vendors
- The ability and adaptability to identify and describe complex technical solutions and challenges to non-technical stakeholders in terms suitable for the target audience
- Knowledge of best practice industry standards and exposure to relevant industry frameworks, e.g. TMF Open API, SID, TAM, Open Mobile Alliance, eTOM, TOGAF etc.
- Relevant Degree, and/or proven experience
