Balcas operates biomass Combined Heat and Power plants that produce renewable energy. Residual heat from electricity generation is used to dry locally sourced woodfibre that is then processed into high-energy fuel pellets – marketed under the company’s Brites brand, displacing 750 million litres of oil in homes, commercial premises and industry
Purpose of The Job
As part of a small team, the individual in this role will contribute to the smooth operation of our Renewable Energy Plant in Enniskillen, overseeing the wood boiler operation and the production of wood pellets. You will work collaboratively with your team to drive continuous improvements and achieve excellence in our operations.
Hours of work:
Hours of Work are 8.00pm to 8.00am - 12 hour shifts, 7 days per fortnight
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
*Shifts will be 8am to 8pm until training completed. Day cover when needed to cover holidays etc…
