Principle Objective

The role of Drainage & Civils Trade Sales Advisor is to provide our customers with a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service whilst at the same time optimising sales and gross profit, promote the company's products and services in a professional manner and deliver a superior standard of customer care to our existing customers.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience managing large key accounts preferable

  • Previous experience working in a Drainage & Civils providers preferable

  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding both sales and margin targets

  • Good knowledge of Drainage & Civils products

  • Previous sales experience an advantage

  • Basic computer skills, including Excel

Key Responsibilities 

  • Use initiative to identify sales opportunities and offer advice and solutions to customers, thus maximising profitable sales and margin

  • Build effective working relationships with key customers, in order to understand their requirements thus ensuring that the correct products are supplied

  • Achieve Sales & margin targets

  • Ensure that company policies are followed at all times when producing paperwork associated with sales

  • Liaise with suppliers where necessary

  • Support the Manager and colleagues in working as a team to ensure the division operates efficiently and effectively within company policy

  • Ensure a tidy working environment at all times in line with health and safety guidelines

  • Perform any other duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the company

Contract Type

* Permanent full time

* Full time 40-hour contract

* Working week Monday to Friday
