JOB PURPOSE:
To lead and manage a range of teams to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of DLO operations to meet the needs of customers and the business. The post holder will also lead the continuous review of DLO operations.

To contribute, to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery in line with our vision and values

REQUIREMENTS: 
1. Possess an HND level qualification (or equivalent level 4* qualification) in a relevant subject in relation to providing a Construction/Maintenance service.
And
Can demonstrate 3 years’ experience of managing operational service delivery in a similar role** in a Construction/Maintenance environment*** (Please include dates)
OR
2. Possess a level 3* qualification in a relevant subject in relation to providing a Construction/Maintenance service.
And
Can demonstrate 5 years’ experience of managing operational service delivery in a similar role** in a construction maintenance environment*** (Please include dates)

*Refer to Qualifications Framework for equivalencies

**Similar role is defined as day to day operational responsibility for managing a service or business unit, normally reporting to the Head of Service.

***NIHE DLO has 460 employees with a budget of circa £37m to deliver a service to the following key services: planned and response maintenance, grounds maintenance, cyclical electrical inspections, and maintenance of NIHE premises and fleet management.
