Responsibilities
- One of the points of contact for any delivery issues, liaising with all operational areas and customers as required.
- Process customer complaints and strive to provide an appropriate and timely resolution.
- Notifying customers of their delivery times.
- Working in close partnership with the Transport, Warehouse & Customer Service managers.
- Assigning customer orders to delivery trucks.
- Communicating with Transport Manager and relevant personnel effectively ensuring all requirements are met only a daily basis.
- Arrange call-out for our technicians where required.
- General Logistical administration duties as required.
- Printing and distribution of all scheduling master sheets.
Skills and Qualifications
- It would be beneficial to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics and customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player.
